OUR HISTORY
We originally started as Delaware Dance in 1993 as a not for profit club by a group of parents whose goal was to make dance instruction easily accessible to children in Delaware, Mount Brydges and Komoka area at a reasonable cost.
Classes began in the basement of a Church, but as the concept caught on and the number of dancers grew the club moved to the Delaware Community Centre. With further growth and the addition of our competitive troupe the club relocated to our own facility on Jefferies Road in Kilworth, Ontario.
Here we became Absolute Dance to reflect our expansion to a studio which offers a wide variety of dance programs to our community and the surrounding area at both the recreational and competitive levels throughout the week.
Today we are proud to say that Absolute Dances continues to honour the original goal of providing high quality, accessible dance instruction in a friendly, safe environment.
THE STUDIO
At Absolute Dance we have been providing high quality dance instruction at affordable prices for 20 years! Not only does our experienced faculty have a positive, upbeat teaching style, but they continue to train themselves so they are able to demonstrate alongside the dancers. Our choreography is fresh, unique and current to choreography trends. Our dancers and teachers have been recognized with many special awards, overall awards, choreography awards and scholarships.
Our facility has everything a studio should have air conditioning, change rooms, homework/eating area, wifi, waiting room, two spacious dance rooms with Marley Sprung Floors and plenty of free parking. Sprung floors are essential to dancers as they absorb impact so risk of injury is decreased.
